4. Girl Wins Boys Tournament, Doesn’t Get Trophy
Emily Nash’s victory at the boys’ Division III sectional tournament in Massachusetts set off an internet firestorm that reached viral levels earlier this year. Nash received social media shout outs from some of golf’s biggest stars as well as invitations to play in some prestigious junior events.
