10 New Drivers for 2017

Drivers have come a long way since the days of original persimmon woods. Stronger, lighter and faster materials, combined with brand new technology and adjustable weighting have transformed what used to be one of the toughest clubs to hit in the bag, into one of the easiest.

While they must still conform to USGA specs, 2017 has seen drivers push the boundaries further than ever before. If you are looking to upgrade the big dog this year, we’ve got you covered. Here are 10 hot drivers for this season.

The Callaway Epic Sub Zero driver was made to produce a low-spinning Tour-level driver that would also be forgiving for amateurs. Their focus was on making the face more flexible and they accomplished this by adding their new Jailbreak technology by inserting two bars that stretch from the crown to the sole. The extra stability makes for a face that’s 20-percent thinner and more flexible than before. Plus, the sliding rear weights account for hooks and slices. It’s their most “epic” driver they’ve produced in years. Check it out.
