Tom Kite – 1992 U.S. Open

 

Tom Kite’s final round of the 1992 U.S. Open was one to behold. While even par might not sound impressive, this was a U.S. Open and the wind was blowing hard. Case in point, on the 100-yard par-3 seventh, he needed to hit 6-iron. It’s not a course record, but it was good enough to earn him his lone major victory.
