Oakland Hills Country Club – 18th hole, par 4, 498 yards

South Course, Bloomfield Township, Michigan
Years: 1924, 1937, 1951, 1961, 1985, 1996

This converted sharp dogleg right par-4 features a narrow fairway guarded by a group of bunkers at the corner. Players will usually have a mid to long iron into a shallow green with a noticeable hump in the center of the green.  In 1996, the average score was 4.53. In 1985, it was 4.46. Back in 1951, Ben Hogan won here and famously said, “I’m glad I brought this course, this monster, to its knees.”
