Keegan Bradley Has Some Criticism For His Girlfriend’s Swing

As someone who has just jumped into the incredibly treacherous waters of teaching your girlfriend to play golf, I’m happy to see Keegan Bradley’s back and forth with his girlfriend, Jillian Stacey, after she posted a video on her Instagram account of her and a friend taking some swings. It’s good to know that not even a major champion is immune from people who don’t like getting criticized.

The best, albeit ill-advised, part of this post is the right-hand column, which is isn’t visible on the video above. I’ve pointed out the banter below:

Who knows what this could lead to? No one likes being told how to do things, especially by your significant other. That being said, Jillian’s boo isn’t your average hack; he’s a major champion.

Bubba Watson’s Caddie Proves He’s Got Game

Have you ever wondered just how good the guys who carry the bags on the PGA Tour are? Well, Masters champ Bubba Watson’s caddie, Ted Scott, gave us a glimpse into the kind of stick he is when he shot 1-under during the Monday qualifier for this week’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Scott missed out on making the field by just four strokes but the 1-under score is still impressive. With Watson not in the field this week in New Orleans, it certainly would have been interesting to see who carried his bag. Bubba? Caleb? Who knows?

Lexi Thompson’s First-Pitch Footage Surfaces

Lexi Thompson said herself that her first pitch last week was pretty bad, and now there’s proof:

I mean, it’s certainly not the worst? And you have to give her credit for going all the way to the top of the mound to make the toss. Most people who aren’t trained in the art of throwing a baseball don’t venture that far, opting instead to lob one in from about 40 feet. And honestly, who cares if she bounced it? Lexi Thompson can probably beat any guy who’s laughing at her attempt on the links, so in the end, I think we all know who the winner is.

#BostonStrong: Golfers Show Support for Marathon Runners

Just a year after the tragic Boston Marathon bombing, nearly 36,000 runners took part in Monday’s race, the second-largest field ever. Meb Keflezighi took home the men’s title with a time of 2:08:37, the first American man to win since 1983. On the women’s side, we saw a repeat. Rita Jeptoo of Kenya collected her second title in as many years, setting a women’s course record of 2:18:57.

Several golfers, including Gary Player and Rickie Fowler, showed their support for all those running in the marathon this year. Read More

Out Of Bounds

Sometimes, you may get disappointed by the Internet when you can’t find a particular version of a song or an answer to a question you’re looking for, but things like this remind us why the Internet is a magnificent, wonderful thing. If you grew up in the late ’80s and/or early ’90s, then you probably saw and loved “Space Jam.” This table read from “Funny or Die” of the, uh, let’s call it, “masterpiece,” is sheer perfection and includes a cast of recognizable faces from both the NBA and the comedy circuit. Enjoy.
