Tools: Si Woo Kim’s Winning Clubs at the Players

 

Si Woo Kim crashed the Players Championship’s star-studded field to claim the PGA Tour’s most sought-after event by three strokes. Kim shot rounds of 69-72-68-69 to reach 10-under par and best co-runners up Ian Poulter and Louis Oosthuizen. It was Kim’s second PGA Tour win at age 21.

Kim managed his way around the Stadium Course expertly, driving the ball incredibly well — second in the field in strokes gained: off the tee — but it was his play on and around the greens that set him apart from the class field. Kim gained just shy of five strokes on the field in strokes gained: around the green, helping him to turn pars into birdies and bogeys into pars.
