Jordan Spieth was playing like a robot. He was five strokes ahead entering the back nine, on his way to back-to-back green jackets. After bogeying 10 and 11, his tee shot got wet on the par-three 12th, then after reloading, he sent it into the water a second time. To Danny Willett’s credit, he had played soundly all week as well. He claimed his first major championship after taking the lead following Spieth’s memorable collapse.
