Stars Team Up for New Format in New Orleans

There’s no rest for the weary on the PGA Tour, but the closest thing to it will happen this week in the Big Easy. The Zurich Classic of New Orleans has undergone a transformation from just another 72-hole stroke play event to a two-man team event that has some of the top players on the planet excited to tee it up at TPC Louisiana.

The first two rounds of the Tour’s latest and greatest version of team golf can be seen exclusively  on PGA TOUR LIVE on Thursday and Friday, giving fans a unique opportunity to take in the first-round alternate shot and second-round best ball formats.

The star-power garnered by the Zurich this season only further proves how excited the game’s top players are to try something different. PGA TOUR LIVE will feature some of those marquee groups over the first few days. Jason Day and Rickie Fowler headline the event along with the likes of Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson, Jordan Spieth and Ryan Palmer, Daniel Berger and Thomas Pieters, Bubba Watson and J.B. Holmes, Justin Thomas and Bud Cauley, Hideki Matsuyama and Hideto Tanihara and Kevin Chappell and Gary Woodland.
