Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne

Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne

Located just minutes from Miami in beautiful Key Biscayne, Fla., the award-winning Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne is a championship caliber course that should definitely be in your plans if you visit the area on your next buddy trip.

Seven Lakes Golf

The par-72, 7,301-yard course, designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge and unveiled in 1972, received a facelift in 1993 by von Hagge. Today, Crandon presents a stiff test to golfers of all skill levels with seven saltwater lakes, penalizing and strategically placed sand traps, thickets of mangroves, undulating greens, and abundant wildlife. Several holes overlook Biscayne Bay and in fact, the par-4 seventh hole requires an approach shot over the bay to a well-protected green.

If you ever wanted to get a taste of what it feels like to tee off through the chute at the 18th at Augusta National, Crandon has you covered with the par-5 18th hole which requires a tee shot up a narrow corridor and a carry of 250 yards over water to reach the fairway.
