Eaglewood Resort and Spa

Eaglewood Resort and Spa

Less than an hour by car from downtown Chicago and just 20 minutes or so from the airport, the Eaglewood Resort and Spa provides a great destination for a golf trip with enjoyable 18 holes of and off course activities for everyone in your group, including its own bowling alley.

Relax and Recharge

The resort offers 295 fully-appointed guestrooms and suites, many with views of the golf course. Guests can find relaxation or recharging at the SPA at Eaglewood Resort which features massage therapy, plus body and skin care treatments. Looking to get your workout in? Head over to the resort’s fitness center and pool which offers a cardio room, fitness classes, free weights, and an indoor heated lap pool. Downtime can be enjoyed at the billiard’s room or six-lane Kegler’s Bowling Alley.

Eaglewood guests can enjoy a great meal at one of the resort’s dining establishments, including Prairie River offering incredible golf course views and delicious hand-crafted American cuisine, Burnham’s featuring international-themed buffets, and Ogden’s Lobby Bar where you can grab a drink and sample small fare.

Challenging, but Forgiving

The par-72, 6,000-yard Eaglewood Golf Club layout provides the opportunity for a great round of golf for all skill levels featuring 100-year old oak trees and sparkling ponds. With its shorter distance, several sets of tees, tree lined and pretty generous fairways, sea of bunkers, sloping greens, and some water hazard risks, the course can be both challenging and forgiving at the same time.

Eaglewood offers some great golf packages including the Unlimited Golf deal which features accommodations, endless golf, and daily breakfast buffet. The Links and Leisure package adds a $25 resort credit.

While in the area, be sure to consider including a round at Cog Hill, The Glen Club or TPC Deere Run, all nearby.

With great golf outside your door and all that Chicago offers right down the road, it’s easy to see why the Eaglewood Resort is such a popular destination for travelers.
