French Lick Resort

French Lick Resort

Less than an hour and a half from Louisville, the French Lick Resort is an ideal spot for a golf getaway. With two distinct hotel experiences, a casino, two spas, three 18-hole championship courses and a very enjoyable nine-hole course, the resort provides everything your group needs for a great experience and then some.

Established in 1845 and oozing with atmosphere and history, the French Lick Springs Hotel offers 443 guest rooms and suites, indoor and outdoor pools, historic tours, a casino, fine and casual dining and a laundry list of activities to fill your day.

Luxury Accommodations and Fine Dining

The West Baden Springs Hotel was built with one purpose in mind – luxury. The hotel, which features an eye-catching 200-foot atrium, was once referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” In addition to all of the types of amenities you can enjoy at French Lick Springs, West Baden boasts 243 luxury guest rooms and suites providing an extra special experience.

Dining options range from the ultimate in fine dining at French Lick’s 1875: The Steakhouse to West Baden’s Sinclair’s Restaurant. Each restaurant offers the finest ingredients and unique fare including ahi tuna and grilled oyster appetizers to sweet lobster fettuccine and chipotle BBQ Wagyu steak burger entrees.

If you are looking for a truly private treat, book Table One at West Baden in advance then sit back and relax at a table located right in the kitchen as you and you group watch the chef prepares the evening’s meal for you. There are several other casual dining and buffet options spread across the two hotel properties.

Championship Golf By World-Famous Architects

Golfers can spend an entire long weekend at French Lick and never play the same hole twice.

In addition to absolutely stunning views and immaculate conditioning, the signature par-72, 8000-yard Pete Dye course offers a true test with elevation changes, three lakes, and Dye’s tricky elevated “volcano” bunkers. The course has hosted the Senior PGA and Senior LPGA Championships.

The par-70, 7000-yard Donald Ross course offers players a walk through history with the course having undergone a massive renovation to return it to as close to possible to Ross’s original design. The result is 80 penalizing bunkers and greens with some undulations that will cause even the strongest putter’s knees to knock a bit.

The resort provides the challenging nine-hole par-36 Valley Links course. But don’t be fooled into thinking this is a pitch and putt as course designer Tom Bendelow stretched the course out to almost 3,500 yards across rolling fairways and featuring thick fescue grasses.

Less than 30 minutes away in nearby Jasper, the resort also offers scenic Sultan’s Run, a par-72, 6,900-yard parkland-style track designed by Tim Liddy.

French Lick Resort offers a truly remarkable array of golf packages to choose from including the Hall of Fame, Donald Ross Experience, Double-Play, Triple Play, and Eagles, Birdies and Pigeons which features time at the resort’s shooting range.

If you are looking to include a little learning with your experience, the resort offers customizable packages featuring time with teaching professionals which includes TrackMan swing analysis.
