Giants Ridge

Giants Ridge

Giants Ridge has long been considered one of Minnesota’s best resort golf vacation destinations. Year after year, national golf publications have ranked The Legend and The Quarry near or at the top of the best golf courses in the world.

For those looking to unplug and unwind while enjoying a few fun and stimulating rounds of golf, there’s no better destination than Giants Ridge. Set in the rugged beauty of Northern Minnesota’s Mesabi Iron Range, this golf “giant” boasts two of Jeffrey Brauer’s finest designs.

The Legend

Opened in 1997 to rave reviews, The Legend is the original Giants Ridge track. Playing through towering pines and alongside glittering Sabin Lake, this player-friendly resort course embraces the pristine beauty of the Northwoods.

Don’t let the wide fairways fool you: undulating greens and strategically placed bunkers create a fun challenge.

The Quarry

While The Legend is characterized by smooth lines and serenity, The Quarry is home to rugged terrain and exhilarating obstacles. Built on the site of a former sand quarry and iron ore mine, this exceptional layout provides a beguiling test for even the most skilled golfers.

Dramatically raised tees and hazards forged from reclaimed and repurposed mine land create unique challenges.
