With a breathtaking ocean backdrop and palm trees galore, the golf experience here is the stuff of bucket list dreams.

The par-70, 6,566-yard Beach Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., weaves along lava flows and borders the Kohala Coast. Generous fairways, forgiving bunkers, and large greens allow for posting solid scores. Just don’t get caught up in the views for too long or your scorecard could suffer.

The par-72, 7,074-yard Tom Weiskopf-designed Kings’ Course plays as the more challenging of the two tracks and features incredible extinct volcanoes in the distance, wide but undulating palm-tree lined fairways, double greens, beautiful flora, and penalizing pot bunkers. Multiple tee boxes allow players of all levels to enjoy a round at this gem.
