Kiva Dunes Golf Course

Kiva Dunes Golf Course

Just an hour from Mobile sits Kiva Dunes Resort, an incredible Gulf Coast property in Gulf Shores, Ala.

Kiva Dunes not only boasts the state’s highest-rated public golf course but also four pools, two restaurants, a beach club, deluxe home and condo rentals, sand more than a mile of beautiful sugary white sand beachfront.

The Bigger the Group, the Better

Whatever the size of your group, there is a fully-equipped oceanside home or condo to fit your needs. In addition to the luxurious one- to seven-bedroom beach homes sitting right on the Gulf of Mexico in nearby Fort Morgan, the condos at Kiva Village and Kiva Lodge are a perfect spot to call home during your trip as they are close to the resort’s dining, spa, and gym.

With all of the incredible outdoor activities the area has to offer, we’re not sure how much time you’ll actually spend inside. From swimming to deep sea fishing to tennis to shopping to diving, the Gulf Shores community has it all.

Conveniently located right in Kiva Lodge, the Kiva Grill serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week featuring a full menu including southern style eggs benedict, omelettes, sandwiches, salads, grits, fresh seafood, Po boys, and fried shrimp. The Beach Club Restaurant at the Kiva Beach Club offers a huge list of cocktails, sandwiches, appetizers, and salads, as well as hosts Taco Tuesday each week.

Looking for some great local food? Just head in any direction and you will almost certainly find something to satisfy your craving including great BBQ, fresh seafood, and steaks.

Saltwater Golf

The par-72, 7,092-yard Kiva Dunes Golf Course, a Jerry Pate signature course, is an absolute treat to play. As you breathe in the saltwater air from the Gulf, you are presented with a relatively flat track marked by plush and perfectly manicured fairways and undulating greens, swamps and lagoons sometimes requiring a forced carry to avoid, and beautiful but penalizing white sand bunkers. With four sets of tee boxes, the course provides an enjoyable test for any golfer. Beware the ocean breezes which when really blowing can make the course show its teeth.
