Head outside and choose from a ton of great activities including tennis, swimming, surfing, volleyball, hiking, biking, scuba diving, snorkeling, and parasailing.

When you get hungry, head over to the open-air CanoeHouse restaurant for breathtaking views and delicious dishes like Kona lobster miso, sautéed scallops, coconut curry Kauai shrimp, and Asian style chicken. Also, check out Bay Terrace and the Ocean Bar & Grill.

Incredible Moutain and Ocean Views

Once host to the Senior Skins Game, Mauna Lani offers two great golf experiences with the North and South Courses, both designed by Homer Smith.

The par-72, 6,924-yard South Course weaves through rugged black lava-rock outcroppings from the Kaniku lava flow. With ample fairways, incredible mountain and ocean views, and well-kept sand bunkers, the course defends itself with the ever-present rocks and several lakes.

Built upon a lava bed, the par-72, 6,913-yard North Course features a rolling terrain through a mesquite tree forest and offers a stern challenge for players. An interesting course tidbit- there is a 230-acre protected archaeological district on the northern boundary of the course and herds of feral goats are frequently seen throughout the course. Mauna Lani also offers a short nine-hole walking course called the WikiWiki.

**Note: The Hotel will be closed beginning October 1, 2018, for 14 months for a $100 million renovation.
