If you are looking for a one-stop shop in a golf getaway then you should consider a visit to Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri.

The 420-acre resort sitting on the shores of Lake of the Ozarks, which has more than 800 guest rooms to choose from ranging from standard guest rooms to one- and two-bedroom suites to an estate complex with rooms in residential style properties.

Tan-Tar-A delivers this too in the form of 27 holes of championship golf set beautifully in a scenic Ozark setting. The par-71, 6,400-yard Oaks and the nine-hole par-35, 3,000-yard Hidden Lakes courses offer an incredible experience for golfers of all levels. Gently rolling hills, tree-lined fairways, and amazing views of the lake are on tap here.

The Oaks, with 60 bunkers and water hazards, places a premium on accuracy, particularly off the tee. As the course winds through the surrounding hills and forest, players are challenged with quick greens and strategically-placed hazards. Multiple tee boxes and immaculate Bermuda and zoysia fairways make the Oaks a stern but enjoyable experience for the expert for all players.

Hidden Lakes, rated as one of the best nine-hole courses in the U.S., features a pretty level layout marked by lush fairways, bent grass greens, and that signature incredible. But with a couple of water hazards and more than 30 bunkers, don’t let your guard down or your score will go up.

Tan-Tar-A has some solid golf packages available, including Par For The Course which includes accommodations, golf, and use of the driving range. As part of the Lake of the Ozarks Golf Trail, the courses are available to play as part of packages through the organization as well.  

**Tan-Tar-A Resort will undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation and be rebranded as a Margaritaville hotel, the chain of resorts named for singer Jimmy Buffett’s best-selling song. Its new name effective March 2019 will be Tan-Tar-A, a Margaritaville Resort.
