Golfer Expedites His Need For Shoulder Surgery

Golf is a social sport, and we think it’s fun to share golf experiences; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Partnering with our friends at gottaGolf (The Ball Tracer & Social Golf App), SxS is proud to bring you “Golf Fails brought to you by gottaGolf,” a weekly reminder that golf is… really hard.

Part of the beauty of golf is the different and awkward positions you will find yourself in over the course of 18 holes. While no two lies are ever exactly the same, you can come to learn how to play nearly every kind of shot on the course.

However, when you’re looking at a ball that got stuck on the face of a fairly steep bunker face, there’s not a lot of experience that can prepare you for that shot as evidenced by the golfer in the video above. Not only is taking a stance difficult enough, preparing for the push and pull of the golf swing on such a slope can take the feet out from under you.

Unfortunately for this golfer — although it may be fortunate for us — as if the sheer defeat on his face after flailing, missing and falling weren’t enough, he looks up to see his playing partner has documented the whole thing on his phone and you can see the air leave his body.

On the bright side, he made it on SxS!
