Golf is a social sport, and we think it’s fun to share golf experiences; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Partnering with our friends at gottaGolf (The Ball Tracer & Social Golf App), SxS is proud to bring you “Golf Fails brought to you by gottaGolf,” a weekly reminder that golf is… really hard.
This golfer did nearly everything right from a tricky uphill lie. He got his shoulders parallel to the slope, swung up with the terrain, which resulted in a pretty solid shot out of the cabbage.
However, that’s where the compliments end.
Having exaggerated his adaption to the slope, the golfer’s balance was off after the strike, leading him to that relatable run down the hill that we’ve all tried in order to regain our balance. From there, Mother Nature proved she has a sense of humor. A small creek meandered down at the bottom of the hill and something tripped up the golfer, forcing a faceplant into the water.
Thankfully, the golfer popped up quickly and appeared to only have a bruised ego. We hope for his sake he buried the putt.
