A lot of people ask me where the raw power in my golf swing comes from, and I always tell them that it all starts with my power crouch. I use the ground to create power for my power crouch.
You need to train your body to find the bottom of the swing while in the power crouch, so I use a standard yoga ball to simulate the action of the golf swing. By straddling the ball, when the swing goes up, you’ll bounce down and the ball will bounce you back up. This will give you the feeling of getting to the bottom of the swing, and using the ground is where all the power comes from.
