Escape Trouble By Aiming At The Obstacle

Do you have a perfect golf swing? Can you strike the golf ball with a perfectly square clubface and path 100% of the time? If so, this tip is not for you.

The next time you find yourself in the trees, and you are forced to punch back out in the fairway, try using this tip.

If there is a tree blocking your line of play, aim for it — unless of course, it’s massively wide, or you are very close to it. Chances are, you won’t be able to hit the tree when you aim directly at it. Let’s face it, we aren’t perfect, and our golf shots reflect that.

SwingU instructor Ryan Rustand swears by this approach. See it for yourself.
