Improve Your Start Lines With An Alignment Rod

It’s no secret that if you can get your ball started out on the right line, you have a better chance of hitting your target.

You may struggle with pulling or pushing the ball at impact, which makes it very difficult for you to start the ball on your intended target line, so the next time you are out on the range try sticking an alignment rod in the ground about five feet in front of your ball directly on your target line.

The objective is to use the alignment rod as a visual aid to improve your start lines. If your miss is to the left of target try hitting the ball to the right of the stick, and vice versa until you can see, feel and understand your typical launch line.
