Work On The Up-And-Down Challenge

Many amateurs waste strokes around the greens. There are a few reasons for this when it comes to technique, but more important than technique is familiarity, experience and practice.

Short game practice can be monotonous for some, so Swing-U instructor Ryan Rustand recommends turning your time on the short game area into a challenge.

Using the up-and-down challenge, players get a better feel for their lies around the greens, the type of contact they need to make, plus they get some real-round pressure when needing to hole the final few putts to complete the challenge.
