7. Farmers Insurance Open – Jon Rahm
The Farmers Insurance Open is the third or fourth unofficial-official start to the golf season every year. Played at a familiar golf course — Torrey Pines — the event usually draws big names to a major championship venue. 2017’s edition, however, will likely be remembered for the breakout win for a Tour star for years to come: Jon Rahm.
