7. Sabotage by Way of Luggage
This ridiculous story from the LPGA is as crazy as they come. Ha-Na Jang’s father dropped a large suitcase down an escalator at an airport that ended up hitting Jang’s rival, In Gee Chun. This led to Chun missing several tournaments, causing the outside world to believe that there was a motive behind this dropped suitcase. Ha-Na was indeed gunning for Chun’s Olympic roster spot, but we’d like to believe she was a little bit more ethically and competitively inclined than that.
