Maiya Tanaka started playing golf at 11 years old at a First Tee program. She saw late success in her college years and went on to be featured on shows such as the “Amazing Race,” “Big Break: Invitational Tournament,” and various commercials. Hally Leadbetter is an alumna of Rollins College where she also played on the women’s golf team. Both her parents played golf in college; her mother played at Arizona State and her father at UNLV. Her mother went on to play on the LPGA Tour, so golf is in this family’s blood. Hally was a national champion for the 2015-2016 college golf season. Thanya Pattamakijsakul is a student-athlete on the ladies golf team at Texas A&M. Her father introduced her to the game of golf at age 11 in Thailand, where she was born and grew up. Troy Mullins started playing golf after college at the age of 21. She was a biathlete at Cornell University, which came in handy when her friend brought her to a driving range one day. She was a natural and began competing in tournaments and long drive competitions shortly thereafter. Cecilie Nordahl is a Norgwegian-born former collegiate golfer for the Roger’s State Hillcats located in Oklahoma. She graduated recently and has turned her focus to following her passion of traveling and exploring new places.
