8. Beach Course at Waikoloa Beach Resort – Waikoloa, Big Island
The 18-hole Beach Course at Waikoloa Beach Resort opened in 1981. Another Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design, it is carved through the magnificent lava-flows along Anaecho’omalu Bay, creating a challenging yet scenic golf course that runs along the Pacific Ocean, which offers views of breaching humpback whales if you’re lucky. From the back tees, it plays to a par-70 and measures 6,566 yards. The course features 3 sets of tees for different skill levels. Check it out.
