Some golfers struggle with proper alignment on the greens — they feel that they’re sometimes too far open or too far shut — but there is a simple way that you can work on your alignment so that you always can go back to a baseline.

Once you’ve set the putter down behind the ball, make a triangle of 3-4 ball markers and use that as a guide for where your feet should go in order to simulate a perfectly square address position. When you have that triangle, you can be perfectly sure that your feet and alignment are parallel and square to the line.
