Good players, when they finish a stock swing, finish their follow-through with the club between their two ears and they form a 90° angle with their lead arm. This is an important indicator of the rest of the swing.

Most golfers are concerned with their swing plane — whether their too steep or too shallow, too over the top or too much from the inside — but if you’re on plane, your club will naturally end up in the classic finish, a good checkpoint to see how your swing is performing.
