I recently received a letter from the law firm representing Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament demanding that I cease and desist from selling my popular Yucatan Masters t-shirt and visor.

Their claim is that the Yucatan Masters logo is somehow a copy or a knock-off of their logo, which they say is well-known and recognizable.

I am here today prepared to dispute these claims with the help of Cha Cha Banderos, the great-great-grandson of Diego Bello Banderos, founder of the famed Yucatan National Golf Club as well as the Yucatan Masters Tournament.

Based on the devastating information Cha Cha has testified to today, I have instructed my non-licensed legal counsel, Mr. Darrel Bevins, to draft and fax a counter cease and desist letter to the chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters demanding that they suspend the use of the Masters logo effective immediately. on the grounds that it infringes upon the Yucatan Masters logo, which as we learned today, was clearly established first.
