One of my favorite short game and pitching drills is simple, but not easy to achieve, and I promise it’s going to help you. Players who continue to get out of sequence, this drill will teach you how to get in sync.
Hitting some 30-yard pitches with one hand, try to feel like you’re making a little underhanded toss, which will force you to use your pivot. If you were to toss a ball underhanded, you wouldn’t just throw it with your arm; you’d have some body pivot and rotation. The same goes for pitching.
