In the golf swing, we hear a lot about rotation, but many times what we forget is that rotation has to happen throughout the entire chain reaction at every joint in our body.

One of the places we think rotation would naturally occur — the hip — it doesn’t occur simply because the muscles that can allow rotation to occur are tight and stop that rotation.

By consciously using this exercise to facilitate rotation in our hip, that rotation in the swing becomes subconscious.
