Don’t Let Your Shadow Distract You From Your Shot

A lot of golfers find themselves bothered by their shadow when they are over top of the ball. Instead of being distracted, use your shadow as an aid. Take some practice swings and watch your shadow to see what’s going on with your swing.

When it’s time to hit the shot, know that your watching shadow has confirmed your swing thoughts. From there, look at the target and keep that image in your mind, not paying any more attention to your shadow on the ground. Make your swing and concentrate on delivering your clubhead to the ball.
