If you’re struggling with ball striking or just hitting the ball solid in general, a good place to look is how is your body is moving. Let’s talk about the pivot.

A lot of you who hit the ball fat — or even thin and can’t hit the ground in the right place — tend to have an upper body sway. What happens is when you take the club away, your shoulders are too flat or not inclinated to the ground enough, which causes your head and your upper body to move too much away from the ball.
