One of my favorite shots to hit — although it probably wasn’t one of your favorite shots that got you there — is when the ball ends up under the lip of the bunker. I’ve come up with a method for this that’s called “the elevator shot.”

Usually, we fight against the chicken wing, but desperate times call for desperate measures. We’re going to pull that chicken wing right up the elevator shaft to get the ball up and out of the bunker.
