When we look at the follow through, we understand the importance of posting up. To be able to properly post up, the post has to have a good end to it, and the good end to the post is the front foot and ankle. 

I have to have good stability and mobility to be able to post up. We’re going to attack the dorsiflexion part of this, which allows the body to get over the top of the foot.
