A great question came into the learning center from Edna in Orlando, Florida. Edna asked how she can recoup some clubhead speed that she has lost over the years. Clubhead speed is just like drag racing — when it’s time to go, you go. In order to reach top speed at the golf ball, we need to initiate speed at the top of the swing.
Using some items you can find around your house, like an alignment rod and an old paper towel tube, work on your transition at the top of the swing to fling the paper towel tube off of the alignment rod, which will signal the return of speed to your swing.
