While amateurs are much less likely to go through rigorous training sessions to learn proper breathing techniques, the impact just a few deep breaths can have a transformative effect on players.

When facing a challenging shot, it’s natural for our minds and hearts to race, making us a little more jittery than normal. Instead of trying to hit the shot with those jitters, attempt to “ground” yourself through your breathing so that you have the best chance to pull off a great shot.
