For some of you who come too far from the inside, the best thing to do is put your club underneath the rope to ensure you don’t take the club too far outside in the backswing. The rope then acts as a swing plane aid so you can keep your club from getting too far off plane in the back and through swings.

If you struggle with coming over the top, put your club on top of the rope to start your backswing on the right path and then go under the rope through the ball to feel a more shallow plane.
