Let’s see if we can get rid of that over-the-top move. Most of you are swinging the club too much from the outside and to the left, which results oftentimes in slices or dead pulls. 

Tee up an 8 or 9-iron. We’re not so much worried about contact as we are about working on the shape of the swing. Take the club to the top of the backswing, pause, slowly practice the perfect transition, get the club parallel to the ground and then do two mini pumps.
