Amateur golfers’ biggest problem when they get into a fairway bunker is that they have no clear strategy to escape the predicament they find themselves in.

By employing a simple swing thought — hit the ball between the bottom and the equator of the ball — the goal of the shot becomes clear, and more often than not, leads to a successful escape from the sand.
