Understand there is not one perfect way to set up to the ball, but there are a couple of things that you’ll want to avoid.  A lot of amateurs try to get too close to the ground by using excessive knee bend. Instead, walk into the ball with your legs relatively straight and learn to hinge from your hips and get your sternum facing the ball. A perfectly flat back is not required. This proper posture will allow you to complete the swing in a manner that is most effective.
