Getting into the backswing to load up for impact requires a lot of rotation from all parts of your body, but perhaps the most underappreciated part of the body that needs to give up a lot of rotation is the front foot. If you’re able to rotate that front foot, it kicks off the chain reaction of rotation through your hips and shoulders, which determines the amount of power you’re able to deliver to the ball.
