Short-game guru Dave Pelz hones his craft on this magnificent backyard practice facility at his home in Austin, Texas. If the green in the background looks familiar, it should because that’s a replica of the par-3 17th at TPC Sawgrass. There’s also a copy of the 12th at Augusta National.
It doesn’t get much more ideal than owning a home overlooking Pebble Beach’s sixth hole with your own putting green in your backyard. Here is one under construction, but you can imagine what it looks like now. Yes, we’re jealous too.
Former Atlanta Braves Hall of Fame pitcher John Smoltz is also a scratch golfer. Being retired has its perks, especially when you have a house with a backyard that features nine different tees and three greens.

NASCAR champion Kevin Harvick has this sweet set up in his backyard. When he’s not on the track, he’s hitting balls on his replica par-3 12th hole from Augusta National.
Long Island Sound
This home sits in Guilford, Connecticut directly on the Long Island Sound and it’s got its own par-3 to die for. It has five tees, two of which that sit out in the water.
Putting guru Dave Stockton has this beautiful Augusta National-inspired putting green in his backyard complete with the flower bed logo and flag pole. The fire pit is a nice touch as well.
Actor Mark Wahlberg has a practical golf facility in his backyard. It has four greens and you can play shots as far as 140 yards.
As if living on the Monterey Peninsula wasn’t enough, try having two private golf holes that overlook the rocky shores of the Pacific. It’ also conveniently located less than a mile from the famed Cypress Point Club.
