10 Hilarious Bad Tour Pro Dances

Dancing and golf may have more in common than you think. They both require a fair amount of timing and rhythm. If you have that, they both can look quite graceful, especially in celebration after a big putt or an unlikely hole-out. Check out these 10 hilarious Tour pro dances on the course to give yourself a midweek pick me up.

Phil Mickelson

Phil Mickelson is a famous golfer, he has won plenty of tournaments, a few majors, and with all these accolades comes endorsements and commercials. Last year one of those endorsements brought out a side of Phil we rarely see, thus Phil Mickelson Dance Machine was born, and spawned countless memes and parodies poking fun that pros questionable dance moves.

Miguel Angel Jimenez

Anything Miguel Angel Jimenez does is interesting, hence his “World’s Most Interesting Golfer” nickname. On the 15th hole of the first round at the 2015 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, Jimenez made the world’s most interesting ace, followed by this wonderful dance.

Chi Chi Rodriguez

Chi Chi was known for his patented sword sheathing, but his samba dance moves weren’t too shabby. The Puerto Rican golf legend always brought his Latin flair where ever he teed it up. This clip was from the 1986 Senior Players Championship where he went on to win at Canterbury Golf Club in Beachwood, Ohio.

Jose Maria Olazabal

Jose Maria Olazabal set this practice green on fire when he broke it down to Pharrell’s “Happy” back in 2014 at the Kings of Golf. He even got Miguel Angel Jimenez involved in his routine and Sam Torrence approved.

Ha Na Jang

Ha Na Jang busted out this Beyonce-inspired dance after sinking the winning putt at the 2016 HSBC Women’s Champions. She could’ve gone with the Jack Nicklaus putter raise or the Arnie hat toss, or literally anything else, but nope. She went with Queen B. But really, can you blame her?

James Hahn

James Hahn broke it down with this epic “Gangnam Style” dance during the 2013 Waste Management Open when he holed this birdie putt on the famed par-3 16th. While the dance was popular a few years ago, it isn’t so much now, obviously.

Boo Weekly

Remember when Boo Weekly was a Ryder Cupper? Here he is riding the proverbial bull to perfection during at Valhalla in 2008. The fact that it’s in slow motion makes it that much more incredible.

Michelle Wie

Michelle Wie holed out this approach for eagle during the 2015 Lotte Championship and celebrated with this modified version of the always classic running (wo)man. She even capped it off with a nifty little fist bump with her caddie.

Sergio Garcia

2017 Masters champion Sergio Garcia gave us his best night-club-like fist pump slash closed-fist freestyle swim during the second round of the 2016 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. Yes, Sergio. It does look funny indeed.

Zach Johnson

Not all dances have to come from the players. Here, caddie Damon Green celebrates with his patented wild birdie dance as his man Zach Johnson knocks in a birdie on the 72nd hole during the 2015 Open Championship at St. Andrews. Johnson went on to win his second major title in a playoff, and this dance may have been the key!
