Bettor Hits on Masters Parlay, Wins $41K Payout

Sergio Garcia may have raked in $1.98 million for his Masters win, but one lucky sports bettor also had a lucrative day thanks to Garcia’s major triumph. The only difference is that he didn’t win a green jacket for the effort. If we’re being honest, picking winners in golf is usually a total crapshoot, but occasionally it happens. However, rarely does someone pick two in a row.

On Tuesday, prominent sports betting outlet Bovada posted this unbelievable winning ticket of a two-way golf parlay which one of their users made prior to the Honda Classic back in February. The wager was $60. The payout? A whopping $41,773.92!

Basically, this person had to hit on two outcomes in order to win it all. Rickie Fowler took care of the initial play when he won the Honda Classic by four shots, ensuring the dream was still alive heading into the Masters. Then it was Sergio’s turn, and he delivered with his first major win after defeating Rose in a playoff. Easy money!
