Blind USC Football Player Has an Amazing Swing

USC sophomore longsnapper Jake Olson is probably still recovering from last night’s Cotton Bowl Classic loss to Ohio State. However, once that disappointment wears away and the true offseason hits, you might find Olson around a Southern California golf course.

The only reason that this story is interesting at all is because Olson is legally blind.

Olson made golf headlines earlier this week prior to the Cotton Bowl when the USC Athletics Twitter account tweeted out a team-bonding night out at a Dallas-area Topgolf.

USC blind long-snapper, Jake Olson, made headlines in September when he successfully executed a PAT attempt in the Trojans’ win over Western Michigan.

Despite losing his eyesight at the age of 12 after being born with cancer of the retina, Olson walked on to the team after playing for his high school’s football and golf team.

And from the looks of a recent video of the college sophomore at Topgolf, he’s still got a pretty sweet swing.

With a swing like that, it’s no wonder he can shoot in the 70s.
