Burglar Attempts to Rob Driving Range, Fails Miserably

If you’ve ever been to a driving range, you know what the ball dispenser is. If you try to break into one in an attempt to steal money, you probably don’t know what it is. This guy obviously fell into the latter category.

Here’s what happened, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:

On September 3, 2016, at approximately 4:52 am, deputies from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, assigned to the Southern Precinct, responded to the Mountain Branch Golf Course in the 1800 block of Mountain Road in Joppa for the report of a burglary.

Initial investigation indicates that a white male suspect entered the clubhouse, pried open the golf ball dispenser and attempted to remove cash. The suspect was unsuccessful and fled the area.

Hopefully, this guy’s swing is better than his burglary skills, but we doubt it.
