The Most Prolific Hole-In-One Golfer Of All Time?

Many golfers go their entire lives without having the thrill of walking onto a par-3 green and finding their ball in the bottom of the cup. For the few who do get to feel the euphoria, most spend the rest of their golfing days trying to recapture the magic that allowed them to write a “1” on their scorecard.

Enter Dan Decando, a 75-year-old golfer from New Jersey and perhaps the most prolific hole-in-one golfer of all time. That is if you believe him, which many don’t.

Decando claims to have made 80 aces in the last 17 years, the likelihood of which statistically goes beyond the definition of an anomaly; it’s as close to impossible as it gets.

Decando sat down with Golf Channel for a piece on his historic mark, which included interviews with witnesses as well as those who have been alongside Decando for one of his many “aces,” only to get the feeling that something fishy is going on.

Comedian Artie Lang narrates the interesting tale.

What do you think about Decando? Is he the legitimate King of Aces or a fraud? Let us know in the comments below.
