Country Music Star Flips, Buys Busted Cart

One of the many perks of being a touring music star is the luxury of playing fantastic golf courses all around the country.

A staple of musically-inclined golf nuts, the likes of Alice Cooper, Kenny G and Darius Rucker take full advantage of their schedules to include top-flight golf into their daily routines while on the road.

We can now add country music star Gary Allan to that list. Making his way through Texas last week, Allan got the opportunity to play TPC San Antonio, the host course of the PGA Tour’s Valero Texas Open, which was contested last month and won by Corey Conners.

Enjoying his time on the Greg Norman design a little too much, Allan flipped a golf cart into a bunker, damaging the roof.

Maybe to much to drink on the course today . #tpcsanantonio # daydrunk #lovemynewcart #owner

Allan posed next to the new cart in faux horror for effect.

In what may be one of the best “making lemonade out of lemons,” Allan captioned the picture that he may have had a little too much to drink, but added hashtags that lead us to believe he purchased the cart as opposed to simply paying for damages.

He tagged the photo with “love my new cart” and “owner.” Every serious golfer should have their own cart, and it sounds like Allan has joined that group.
