Gigantic Python Invades South African Golf Course

Golf brings you closer to nature. It’s a game played outside among the grass, trees and wildlife. Of course, most of us prefer to steer clear of most of the wildlife — more of a” you do your thing, I’ll do mine” kind of mentality, but sometimes it simply can’t be avoided.

In the United States, we have our own treacherous forms of wildlife that call many golf courses home, headed up by alligators and crocodiles. However, as you travel the world to play different kinds of courses, you find different kinds of animals as well. Keep that in mind if you ever travel to South Africa looking to play some of that country’s fine tracks.

A video posted earlier this week shows a giant python slithering through Zimbali Country Club in Dolphin Coast, South Africa this week. The smart golfers who came across it did two things correctly: 1. they let the snake play through; and 2. they took a video to share with the world. At last count, the YouTube video shot by Nthokozo Mthembu has over 280,500 views.
